Created in 2006, the EUROPEAN FEDERATION FOR AGRICULTURAL RECYCLING gathers and represents European companies specialising in landspreading of biosolids.

The use of Biosolids in agriculture has to be carry out with professionalization. It is necessary to guarantee quality of soils and crops through the different steps of Biosolids applications.

Engineers and technicians of EFAR members are regularly in direct relationship with farmers and other Biosolids users. Their mission is to implement the landspreading operations in accordance with the European and national regulation and to optimize the beneficial reuse of biosolids.

More transparency and communication:

Communication is one of the key factors in the success of the Biosolids reuse in agriculture. EFAR members are working in full transparency with farmers, food producers, local authorities and consumers. All these stakeholders must have direct access to information. All stakeholders must also be constructive and responsible partners because they are also Biosolids producers.
