Biosolids treatment prior to landspreading

EFAR members undertake complementary treatment to Biosolid to increase their agronomical value and to contribue to their safe use :

• Dewatering, drying : to reduce the water content,

• Liming : to stabilize the organic matter, hence lowering thefermentability and to reduce eliminate odors,
• Composting :to increase the agronomical value.

The large range of treatment enables the production of Biosolids with different properties adapted for use to suit the nature and composition of the soils.
