Is Landspreading the best solution for Biosolids recovery?
For several reasons, the agricultural recycling seems to be the best solution for dealing with Biosolids:
- It provides nutrients and reduces the use of mineral fertilizers. Mining reduction and limitation of mineral fertilisation production have a positive impact on fossil fuel consumption and on GHG emissions.
- Landspreading also avoids the use of incineration and disposal in landfill, two alternatives with more significantimpacts on the environment.
